Stimulating Environment

San Francisco, one of the premier tourist destinations in the world, offers everything that any cosmopolitan center can offer. The best in restaurants from every nation, historic landmarks, outstanding universities, state parks, gorgeous beaches and redwood forests. With the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Bay to the east, and rolling hills throughout the city, San Francisco is world renowned for its breathtaking views. The climate remains relatively cool and comfortable with day temperatures between 55 and 60 degrees. Evenings cool off to between 45 and 50 degrees. The Academy is located in San Francisco's Civic Center, a block away from City Hall, half a block from the Federal Building and minutes away from the San Francisco Public Library.



Professional Staff

Members of our faculty and staff are college and university trained professionals. The entire faculty are native speakers of English.

Each teacher has a college degree. Master teachers have completed graduate degrees in ESL or linguistics. Most faculty have lived, taught, and traveled extensively abroad.



Modern Programs and Facilities

The Academy maintains the latest in audio, video, and computerized programs to make your learning of English easier. Our tape library includes audiotapes to improve your listening skills, TOEFL test taking skills, and pronunciation skills. Our video library has tapes designed to help you pass the TOEFL and improve pronunciation. Our computer programs will do everything from diagnose your accent, to instruct you on English grammar. We also have high-speed Internet access to get you on the Web fast so you can surf the Web and e-mail your friends back home.
